Coffee Tours

Thanks so much for your interest in joining our coffee tours!  Hopefully we’ve got something for everyone.

Option One: For free or nearly free (tips for the baristas) tours, consider joining the meet-up group, NYC Coffee Hunters. I lead about one tour a month, using a handout on Coffee Tasting Vocabulary!

Option Two: Also, I seasonally run coffee tours for NYC visitors on AirBnB Experiences.

Option Three: Can’t make those dates?

Here’s what people had to say about the tours!

We just finished our coffee tour with K and had THE BEST TIME!! She was so knowledgeable about coffee as well as the hist

ory of coffee in NYC. You can tell she’s really passionate about the local scene and shared stories of the shop owners as well. She answered every single one of our questions and the experience felt like we got a glimpse of New York that most tourists wouldn’t get to see. I highly recommend!!

What a fun tour! The host, K, really did her background research! She was such a charming and engaging tour guide. My friends and I are all still talking about the coffee tasting notes she taught us about and we all have fond memories of this tour. I’ve done about 50 Airbnb experiences and I can say this is one of the best! K is a great guide and very knowledgable about coffee.

We booked this on a whim at the last minute. Best. Decision. Ever. From the first moment, we felt we’d known K forever- she’s easy-going, smart and personable. I can’t imagine who else knows the history of coffee culture in NYC like she does. In our group of 4, we were all coffee tasting novices, and she taught us the basics without ever being condescending or arrogant. Conversely, K has such a depth of knowledge from touring, interviewing and researching every aspect of coffee production that even expert coffee connoisseurs will appreciate and learn new things. She knows the secret spots and opened a whole new world to us. An unforgettable experience we will recommend to many friends for years to come.
